TENTACLES (2006, unrealised) was envisioned as a city-wide artwork in which the City of Paris would grow giant luminous tentacles that would move organically in the wind and breathe life into the city fabric itself. Each Tentacle consists of 11 x 7m diameter, internally illuminated helium-inflated spheres with flexible LED lighting running up the 1km tether lines.
